What does it mean to be VouchedFor’s Top Rated?
They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But we would disagree.
The sincerest form of flattery for us is a personal recommendation from a delighted client. Let us explain why.
Bow Financial Services is proud to say that we’re one of a select few financial advisers in the UK who have been awarded ‘Top Rated’ in this year’s round of awards by the prestigious rating service VouchedFor.
The clue is in the name: VouchedFor’s award is based on feedback from clients on its website. We have quite literally been ‘vouched for’ by our clients – and with a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 54 of them, well, it doesn’t get much better than that!
And don’t we all love a review?
Especially when written by people who are in the same boat, making the same decisions as us. If you’re booking a holiday you look at hotel reviews on TripAdvisor, and if you’re up for a spot of online retail therapy you read the product reviews products on Amazon - their speling mite not be perfekt, but every one has unbiased wisdom to impart!
Many of us also devour product reviews in magazines like Which. Because we’re not being ‘advertised at’ they give us an independent view. I mean what would life be, if you couldn’t check out who makes the nation’s finest Yorkshire puds?
Client feedback and word of mouth referrals are at the very core of what we do as well. They drive the growth of our business. People value the real, authentic opinions of their peers, fellow clients or customers, those existing clients of Bow Financial Services who have no agenda other than expressing their deep satisfaction.
But why are our clients so satisfied?
One reason is because we are in the ‘dream-making’ business. We turn our clients’ dreams into reality, no matter how normal and practical, or how outrageously fantastic those dreams may be. Whether you want to save to spend a month big game fishing in Bali, or for a weekend break in Bognor - we’ve got your back.
However, there’s another core value which we believe and strictly adhere to. We are a busy office with a constant flow of new clients – there were 7 newbies in April alone – but we don’t want to get too big. We’re not out to grow a client base that is so crowded that the time we have for each client begins to suffer.
We ensure that we remain agile, we like to remain responsive. We think that’s why our client reviews are so high.
When a client phones us to request a meeting, we see them within a day or two. When a new client phones to request a meeting, we see them promptly, and the first consultation – when we assess what they need and lay out what we could do for them – is totally free of charge.
We also take a holistic approach to our clients’ needs
While pensions and retirement are a lot of what we do, we are also a rounded, full-service financial planning firm. This means our priority is you and what you want to achieve in life rather than fixing one problem and leaving you to figure out the rest.
We draw your eye to the other items that could or should be in your ‘financial toolbox’: insurances, investments, and savings. We put together a personalised plan, based on what you tell us, that is totally bespoke and tailored to you and helping you to achieve what you want from life.
Chartered financial planner
And to top it all off, Chris is a Chartered financial planner. This is the gold standard of financial advice, and it’s relatively rare. The stats are hard to pin down, but we believe that 1 in 20 advisers are Chartered and – even better – around 7 or 8 in 100 are ‘Chartered Fellow’, which Chris is also, and which is the highest qualification of them all.
To achieve Chartered status, Chris had to demonstrate:
the highest levels of technical and professional knowledge and competence through professional qualifications
that he keep his knowledge and skills up-to-date through continuing professional development
ethical conduct through adhering to an industry Code of Ethics.
The Code of Ethics means we treat people fairly regardless of age, disability, marriage status, race, religion or belief, and sexual orientation. It means we act in the best interests of each client, exercise due care and maintain confidentiality.
So there we have it: in a nutshell why we think our reviews are so positive. And a huge thank you to everyone who has written one, or featured as a case study on our website.
You can add your own review here if you haven’t already (no pressure though!) and if you know of anyone who could do with a second opinion on their finances, please feel free to forward this article to them.
